Financial Sponsorship

All international students must submit financial documents that indicate and verify financial capability and responsibility in order for the University of Hartford to issue you an I-20. Please choose the option that describes your financial sponsorship below and upload the necessary documents.

You will be required to show a minimum amount of $34,092. This amount is an approximate of the expenses (tuition, fees, and living expenses) for one year of enrollment (fall and spring semesters). The estimates are used for immigration purposes, and do not necessarily represent the actual amount you will be billed. Please refer to hartford.edu/tuition for current tuition and fees information.

When calculating your total estimated cost, add $7,500 for each accompanying dependent.

Proof of Funds

Please submit a bank statement or proof of funds that show a minimum amount of $34,092. The documentation must be in English and the funds must be converted to U.S. dollars, and should be dated within the last 3 months.

Government Scholarship Letter

We must receive an official scholarship letter from your government. The sponsorship letter must indicate sponsorship for at least one academic year, starting on the term you were admitted. If the letter is to be sent directly from your government, please arrange to have it sent to eliinfo@hartford.edu.
